506: Advanced Musical Improv.
(Prerequisite: 505 or instructor permission)

506 explores ComedySportz musical games from three vantage points: audience interaction, lyrical/musical skills, and musical genres and styles. It will build upon your foundation of rhyme, lyrics and song-moments into broader scene work with an increased focus on styles and genres. Additionally, you will be taught effects used in the hiphop improv show Beatbox.

Games include (but may not all get to this term): Changing musical styles, Rap Madrigal, Lounge Lizard, Day In The Life Musical, Hip-Hopera, Audience & Hammerstein, Audience & MC Hammertime, Battle of the Bands, Rapologue, Blank-Aid, Forward/Reverse Musical, Blind Line Musical and 4 Musical Corners.
