Our 10pm Show and Party includes a full ComedySportz show, party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, dancing with a DJ RENE and plenty of surprises and treats!

* Both shows sold out last year and we're performing in the Studio Stage this year to accomindate more fans. For guests attending the 10pm show and party there will also be an optional $25 food and two drink package for those that want to eat.

Funniest Friend Winner!

ComedySportz Chicago will challenge CSz teams from Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door. The championship match will be held at the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse on Saturday, July 14.

Bowling Over the Competition!
On May 18, 2007 ComedySportz Chicago sent a team to challenge ComedySportz Milwaukee. Our Chicago team surprised an unsuspected Milwaukee crowd from the audience by taking the stage to battle for laughs. We continued our out-of-state challenge hot streak by winning the away crowds' approval and defeating the Milwaukee ComedySportz team!

The Hot Karl Returns!

March Madness Results Are In!
Our two week, double-elimination tournament ended with 7 SOLD OUT shows and lots of hilarious moments on stage. The winning Chicago team was members of The Chicago Hustle. Our Chicago champs lost a hysterical game to the visiting champs from ComedySportz Milwaukee by 1 point!

ComedySportz Announces Ensemble and Battle-Prov Audtions!
In March, ComedySportz will hold auditions for our professional ensemble, and Battle-Prov (our farm teams.)
If you are interested in joining the ComedySportz ensemble or in becoming at Battle-Prov performer, you should block this time off in your schedule.
There are two audition times:
-Monday, March 5th, 7pm- 10pm
-Tuesday, March 6th, 7pm-10pm

The Laughter Bowl!
Once the Super Bowl teams were determined, the trash talk started flying! ComedySportz of Indianapolis will send a team of improvisers to Chicago and we will send a team to their theatre. These shows take place on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 8 and 10pm. Loyal Chicago ComedySportz fans can get ready for the Super Bowl early by cheering on their favorite Chicago ComedySportz ensemble members!

The ComedySportz Training Center has been invited to lead a series of breakout sessions at Colloquium 2007: Aspects of Humor The Art and Science of Laughter presented by Chicago Mensa®, the Mensa Education and Research Foundation, and American Mensa. |

Since 1987 ComedySportz has provided accessible, clean, and side-splitting comedy for audiences in Chicago and around the world. The ComedySportz Training Center will team up with Mensa to present a series of interactive breakout sessions and improvisation workshops; giving participants a chance to try their hand (and head) at the art of comedy. These workshops include: Play, Fear, Courage, Truth-You Know, the Easy Stuff, created by Matt Elwell, ComedySportz Training Center Director.
"Having Chicago Mensa, which is synonymous with mental dexterity and aptitude, select ComedySportz for its annual Colloquium is a marvelous alliance with our mission to provide smart, professional comedy," said Steph DeWaegeneer, Director of Creative Sales for ComedySportz. "Our workshop coaches are excited about adding Mensa to our training calendar and challenging Colloquium attendees with the experience of performing live, spontaneous, improvisational comedy in a supportive environment."
