Take a MadSkillz Workshop!
ComedySportz and DSI's The Beatbox present a MadSkillz workshop. MadSkillz teaches you how to rap for an improv show.
Rene Duquesnoy, creator of the hip-hop improv show The Beatbox, will teach free styling techniques, short-form rap games (like Rap Line, Beastie Rap, and Audience & Hammer Time), and different effects used in The Beatbox.
Learn how to enhance a scene by adding quick hip-hop tricks. This class will help the long form and short form improviser alike, and culminate in a short performance, showcasing your new MadSkillz. |

The class costs $100, and runs Sundays from 3:30 - 6:00 PM at the ComedySportz Training Center (5100 N Ravenswood) beginning April 20th. Showcase is on May 12th, at 8:00 PM at the ComedySportz Theatre (929 W Belmont).

ComedySportz Partners with Stage Left for DrekFest 2
DrekFest 2 is Stage Left’s second national search for the worst ten-minute play.
ComedySportz is partnering with Stage Left Theatre for DrekFest 2 by staging two of the selected finalists and ComedySportz Artistic Director Matt Elwell will “critique” the shows as part of the live panel of reviewers.
Drekfest wil take place at The Stage Left Theatre on May 21, 2008.

The ComedySportz® Touring Company will present a special 1-night engagement in Lincolnshire, IL. The Stevenson High School Community Foundation's annual Spotlight Series will present "ComedySportz" in the school's auditorium on Saturday, January 26, 2008. The event is open the community.
